Studlagil Canyon

Studlagil Canyon is a small family business, owned and operated by the family who have lived at the Canyon area since 1964. Studlagil Canyon family offer, accommodation in tiny houses, food from our charming food trailer, handcraft in Farmers Market where the local products are for sale, camping site and good place to stop and relax with sitting area, public toilet and good parking place.

You can explore and enjoy the Studlagil Canyon with it’s new walking path, handrail to improve your safety, and good spots for seeing the canyon.

Accommodation

We offer two type of accommodation, the bigger house is a one bedroom and up to four guests, with a sitting room and a kitchen. Bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is with microwave, fridge and other kitchen equipment so you can prepare your own meals. Bathroom with shower. Free wi-fi.

The smaller house is with double bed, kitchen space with stove, fridge, microwave and kitchen equipment. Bathroom with shower. Free wi-fi.

Handcraft – Farmers Market

Studlagil Canyon Farmers Market is a fair trade, regional and seasonal co-op. Its aim is to offer a great variety of high-quality wool crafts, arts and other crafts, sometimes it also offers delicacies most of which are straight from the farm. All products are made in the local area.

Food trailer

Food trailer at Studlagil Canyon. We have various food, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. We have fresh baked bakery, soup, Icelandic tradition food and various of grab food.

Camp site

Good campsite where you can enjoy your stay surrounded by beautiful nature and hidden gems. The camp site guests have access to good toilets, shower (need to pay for the hot water, all water is heated up with eletricity), dish wash and cook facility.

Parking and staying:

The parking area is located where you can stay at camping, grab a food, buy handmade products, stay and play.

The parking is open the year around, but we close the toilet and relax area during the winter.
