Ski area Skarðsdal

The ski area consists of 4 lifts and 10 slopes, adventure trails, hill tracks, bobsleigh track and platforms.

Ski lifts:

• Bottom lift , Doppelmayr type disc lift, 430 m. long. Drop height 100 m. Produces 480 people per hour. Built in 1988. 
• Skardslyfta , T-lift of the Doppelmayr type, 1034 m. long. Drop height 220 m. Produces 720 people per hour. Built in 1988 
• Bungulyfta , Doppelmayr type disc lift, 530 m. long. Drop height 180m. Produces 550 people per hour. The bungu lift is about 650 meters above sea level. Built in 2001
• Neck lift : Doppelmayr type disc lift 320 m long. Drop height 100m. Produces 500 people per hour. Built in 2012 

Walking area

Facilities for cross-country skiing: Troðin is a cross-country trail in Hólsdal when there is enough snow and conditions allow. But it is pointed out that there is a very good cross-country skiing track (Bárubraut) in Ólafsfjörður, there is also a beaten track for the public.
