Hotel Rangá is a countryside hotel perfectly located to explore all the wonders of South Iceland. We highly recommend that you drive your own car or rental car for your convenience. We offer free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel does not offer scheduled shuttle bus service to and from the Reykjavik capital area or the international airport, but we can of course help with booking transportation. Superjeeps, taxis, limousines, and helicopters can also be arranged. Public bus service from Reykjavik is also an option, but very limiting. The best option by far, both economically and to get the most out of your visit to South Iceland, is to hire a rental car.
